February 17 - 20, 2012
Mooreville, Texas
The Waco LSHM Chapter held a small invitational convention at the Dunnam Ranch that was attended by players from the Austin, Dallas and Waco areas. The Waco Chapter picked up the tab for the meals, beverages, food, and lodging. As Rob Smith mentioned “It’s refreshing that all I have to do is show up and be taken care and not have any responsibilities”.
Basically, the games played were: Early Italian campaign (Fri and Sat morning); English Civil War (Sat afternoon); WSS (Sat evening); and War of the Roses (Sun morning and afternoon).

French Revolution (LSHMWaco) - Austrian vs French Small Engagement - The Austrian IV and V Corps met the French rabble whose identity doesn't really matter since they are lost to history as a footnote. The French suffered over 4000 loses versus the Austrian 400. The Austrian captured numerous standards and killed and captured the majority of the commanders. The remaining command staff will probably surrender later on since if they return to France, they will dance with Mistress Guillotine. (28mm Eureka figures. Carnage and Glory II rules)
